Why I VMI: Richard Hines ’66

Richard Hines ’66 discusses how his time at VMI helped him during his law career, his admiration for his brother rats and the importance of supporting today’s Corps of Cadets.

Richard Hines ’66 is a fourth generation alumnus of VMI. When he was considering colleges, his father told him, “If you want to get a good education, go to VMI.” In this video, Hines discusses the traits of character and integrity instilled in him during his time as a cadet, as well as the importance of giving to the VMI Foundation Fund to support the Corps of the present and of the future.
