It is with great pleasure that I announce Dallas Clark ’99 has been appointed as the next Chief Executive Officer of the VMI Alumni Agencies, beginning June 8, 2026.
A dedicated servant of the Institute and its alumni, Dallas is widely respected for his leadership and deep commitment to VMI. Following an accomplished career at the Institute—most recently as Deputy Superintendent for Finance and Support—he brings a strong understanding of VMI’s mission, traditions, and future opportunities.
The VMI Alumni Agencies and the broader alumni family are entering a period of meaningful growth and renewed engagement. In the years ahead, alumni support will be critical as the Institute advances under the leadership of Superintendent Lt. Gen. David Furness ’87 and continues to strengthen its position within a rapidly changing higher education environment. Dallas’s leadership will be instrumental in connecting alumni to this important work and ensuring the Agencies continue to serve as a strong partner to the Institute.
We are confident that Dallas will lead with vision, integrity, and deep respect for the values that unite the VMI community. His appointment reflects our commitment to strong stewardship of the alumni mission and to the long-term strength of the Institute.
