VMI Alumni and Friends of the Institute,
On behalf of the VMI Alumni Agencies, I am delighted to extend our warmest congratulations and heartfelt welcome to Lt. Gen. David Furness ’87, who will serve the Corps of Cadets as VMI’s 16th superintendent.
Gen. Furness’ appointment marks an exciting new chapter for the Institute, and we are confident that his leadership, vision, and dedication to the VMI mission will inspire both innovation and growth.
We look forward to a continued collegial and collaborative partnership with the Institute, supporting Gen. Furness’ efforts to expand VMI’s impact and foster leaders of character and lives of purpose among our alumni.
