    Patti Cook Director of Annual and Reunion Giving

    The Director of Annual and Reunion Giving is responsible for the leadership and management of an expansive reunion program focused on financial support for VMI and alumni participation and engagement with VMI during reunion activities. The director is also responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating an aggressive program to increase operational support for VMI and the Alumni Agencies, including but not limited to the unrestricted Foundation Fund and the Keydet Club Scholarship Fund.

    Beth Hochstein Assistant Director of Annual Giving

    The assistant director of Annual Giving works with the director to implement a comprehensive multifaceted Annual Giving program across direct mail, email, phone, giving days, crowdfunding and social media. The assistant director implements annual giving communications, tracks and analyzes communications and efforts, and leads the crowdfunding program, identifying creative strategies to increase participation, retention, revenue and stewardship. The assistant director reports to the Director of Annual and Reunion Giving.

    Franklin Van Valkenburg '13 Assistant Director of Annual Giving

    The assistant director of Annual Giving works with the director to implement a comprehensive multifaceted Annual Giving program across direct mail, email, phone, giving days, crowdfunding and social media. The assistant director implements annual giving communications, tracks and analyzes communications and efforts, and leads the call center program, identifying creative strategies to increase participation, retention, revenue and stewardship. The assistant director has the responsibility for the management and coordination of all aspects of the VMI Foundation Phonathon Program and leads and manages a staff of cadet callers responsible for solicitation of alumni, family and friends of the Institute. The assistant director reports to the Director of Annual and Reunion Giving.

    Austin England Leadership Annual Giving Officer

    The Leadership Annual Giving Officer reports to the Director of Annual and Reunion Giving. The primary responsibility is to monitor, track, analyze and grow the leadership giving program as part of the Annual Giving program.
