The CARES Act has some incentives for charitable gifts to VMI.

– Taxpayers may take a charitable deduction of up to $300,  even if you don’t itemize.
– If you itemize  your deductions, it allows for cash contributions to VMI to be deducted up to 100% of your gross income in 2020.
