Coming March 2026: myVMIalumni


March 9, you will be able to join a new online community platform designed exclusively for alumni called myVMIalumni. This will replace the current mobile app, which is sunsetting at the end of March.

This new platform will introduce some new features to allow alumni to connect, including:

  • Groups to connect you with your class and local chapter
  • An alumni map to allow you to see alumni in your general area
  • Direct messaging with other active users on the platform
  • Live feeds to stay up to date with what’s happening with other alumni and VMI
  • A job board to post and search for jobs looking specifically for other alumni

myVMIalumni will be a website you can visit on your desktop or tablet. It will also include a mobile app in the Apple App and Google Play Stores so you can stay connected with each other on the go.

myVMIalumni is currently undergoing beta testing with a small group to ensure it is ready for public launch. When the community is ready for launch, we’ll link to it here, as well as where you can find it in the app stores.

myVMIalumni will launch March 2026.

The current mobile app will be turned off at the end of March 2026. All users interested in keeping a VMI mobile app will need to move to myVMIalumni.

VMI Ranks will continue to operate and will remain the searchable alumni database. myVMIalumni is focused on allowing alumni to connect and engage with each other through focused groups and feeds.
