NYC – Long Island Chapter Military Boxing Classic
The VMI Alumni Association is proud to announce the inaugural NYC Military Boxing Classic – “Freedom Fighters.”
This premier event will bring together elite boxing teams from America’s leading military academies for an unforgettable evening celebrating competition, camaraderie, and the proud tradition of military boxing.
Expected participating academies include:
Virginia Military Institute
United States Military Academy (West Point)
United States Naval Academy
United States Air Force Academy
The Citadel
United States Coast Guard
The evening will feature 12 matched bouts, special guest appearances by boxing legends Ray Mercer and Micky Ward, a VIP reception, and opportunities for alumni, supporters, and sponsors to gather in support of military athletic programs.
