2023 Men’s Soccer Reunion

Approximately 25 alumni returned to post for the Men’s Soccer Reunion hosted by the VMI Keydet Club Sept. 8–9, 2023. The weekend’s activities began Friday night with a social hour and dinner in Moody Hall. On Saturday, reunion participants gathered for lunch before the Keydets took on Presbyterian College at Patchin Field.
“It was great to welcome back soccer alumni to post this weekend, as the Keydet Club is committed to providing better engagement with our former cadet-athletes,” said Andrew C. Deal ’12, Keydet Club chief operating officer and Alumni Agencies director of development. “It was also extra special to have all four soccer VMI Hall of Famers back for the weekend event—Gary Morgan ’81, Matt Ott ’92, Alex Alston ’92, and Rich Daughtridge ’98.”

The creative content manager is responsible for creating high-quality marketing and communications materials in support of the VMI Alumni Agencies mission. This role will also provide photography support for the Alumni Agencies events throughout the year.
Mary Price Communications Officer – Features
The communications officer – features leads the creation of compelling, mission-driven written content that often supports fundraising and donor engagement efforts. In addition to crafting development-focused communications, this role contributes to the editorial success of key Alumni Agencies publications through strategic, long-form storytelling and by maintaining close working relationships with volunteer leaders.
