Alumni

"The VMI Family." It is a term often encountered when dealing with the Virginia Military Institute. It is an expression that embraces not only the Institute's cadets and alumni, but also those who admire and support VMI and its historic mission - its parents, friends, faculty, and staff.

It is the task of the VMI Alumni Agencies - the VMI Alumni Association, the VMI Foundation, and the VMI Keydet Club - to engage the energy, enthusiasm, and generosity of VMI's alumni, parents, and friends in order to strengthen their bonds to the Institute and develop the support that VMI needs to advance every aspect of its singular mode of education and, thus, maintain its extraordinary position in the landscape of American higher education.
