We welcome you to climb aboard the Royal Clipper for a unique sailing adventure that combines the splendor of
the Mediterranean with the fellowship of VMI alumni and friends. We’ve planned an exciting trip on a ship
that offers excellent accommodations, and it promises to be eight days of great times shared and new memories
made with a group of very special alumni.

Pre-Sail Tour of Rome
Day 1: Set sail from Civitavecch, (Port of Roame), Italy at 10:00 PM (Start boarding at 4:00 PM)
Day 2: Ponza, Pointe Archipelago, Italy
Day 3: Sorrento, Italy & Capri Italy
Day 4: Amalfi, Italy
Day 5: Taormina, Sicily
Day 6: Lapari-Aeolian Islands, Italy & Stromboli
Day 7: At Sea
Day 8: Return to Civitavecch, (Port of Rome), Italy 7:30 AM (Exit ship by 10:00 AM)

Life on Board the Royal Clipper

• All outside cabins are furnished with a color television, DVD, telephone, private safe, hair dryer and the services of a cabin steward; suites and main and sun deck cabins have a mini-bar and a whirlpool bath, too
• Laundry and dry cleaning service
• Library with games and books
• Three swimming pools with bar service
• A water sports program that includes snorkeling, SCUBA diving, sunfish sailing, banana boating, water skiing and windsurfing

Double Occupancy Trip Pricing

Owners's Suite (2): $3,999 per person (double)
Deluxe Suite (14): $3,299 per person (double)
Category 1 Cabin (2): $2,399 per person (double)
Category 2 Cabin (38): $2,399 per person (double)
Category 3 Cabin (32): $1,699 per person (double)
Category 4 Cabin (16): $1,399 per person (double)
Category 5 Cabin (4): $950 per person (double)

Cost includes 7 nights and meals aboard the Royal Clipper and all ship water sports except for SCUBA diving. Not included are port charges of $255 per person, gratuities of $63 per person, shore excursions, alcoholic beverages and personal items, travel insurance and airfare.

A deposit of 1/2 of the total cabin charge per person is required with the reservation application. Final payment, is due by November 11, 2010.  

Cancellation Policy:

All cancellations must be made in writing to The VMI Alumni Association.  At the time VMIAA recieves written notification of the cancellation, the following cancellation charges will apply:
cancellations received between September 30, 2010 and November 10, 2010– 50% of the total per person fee; cancellations received between November 11, 2010 and December 31, 2010 – 30% if the total per person fee; NO refunds on/after January 1, 2011.
